One of the features we will be bringing you each week is the Hot Ticket Tuesday where we will spotlight one sporting event for the week that is in high demand.  Given that we are in a slow sports season in America, with baseball in it's dog days and the NFL closing out it's preseason, our first Hot Ticket Tuesday event is the USMNT's World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica. The game is happening this Friday at Red Bull Arena, in Harrison NJ, just a half hour train ride from NYC, and it is currently commanding no less than $96/ticket with the highest priced seats available going for over $1100.  Our parents would have scoffed at paying this much for a soccer game thirty years ago, but soccer has taken hold in America and the market is proof. 

If you are fortunate enough to get a ticket to this event, and are not already an American Outlaw member, you may want to join here so that you can take part in some members only travel discounts or attend their festivities leading up to the match.  They will be hosting a night before event at Smithfield Hall in NYC on W. 25th St., and a pre-game tailgate at Riverfront Park, across the Passaic River from Red Bull Arena. They will march into the stadium together from there.  If you pass on membership, I recommend that you take some time to witness the march or just jump right in, and take in the energy and experience of what American soccer fandom is all about.
